Do white Sektion cabinets show through dark-colored doors?
About 90% of our customers, regardless of their door color, go with the standard white cabinet box. That color is also standard in the European cabinetry industry. So, while it’s true, you may see the white cabinet box shows between the doors and drawers. The reveal between fronts is about 1/8". We can tell you that every amazing photo we have on Instagram and the website has the same thing and they look amazing.
Some Semihandmade customers will take the extra step of painting their white IKEA box to match their Semihandmade fronts. However, there is a risk to your IKEA warranty with this approach, the majority of Semihandmade clients leave the reveal as-is.
